SUMMARY

The “Music Under the Stars” Series is the flagship cultural event of the Montsec Astronomical Park, a unique initiative in Catalonia that has been blending two experiences for over a decade: live music and the exploration of the night sky. Held under one of Europe’s most distinctive and renowned night skies, the series transforms the iconic Ull del Montsec into an exceptional setting where culture and astronomy engage in a thrilling dialogue.

Each edition brings together established artists from the Catalan music scene and emerging new talents, offering a diverse, high-quality lineup that attracts audiences from across the region. The concerts are complemented by astronomical presentations and stargazing sessions, creating a unique experience that goes beyond the traditional concert format.

Now in its fifteenth year, the series has established itself as an innovative cultural initiative capable of bringing together diverse audiences through emotion, music, and contemplation of the universe.

This year, as a major new feature of the 16th edition, there will be a tasting of local culinary delights—featuring both sweet and savory options—in a relaxed and exclusive setting at Plaça de l’Harmonia.

A leading force in Catalan pop since 2005, Els Amics de les Arts have built a solid career with an unmistakable style that combines folk-pop and narrative lyrics full of wit. Tomeu Penya

A singer-songwriter from Mallorca and one of the most popular and beloved voices in Catalan music in the Balearic Islands and Catalonia. Having begun his career in the 1980s, he has developed a unique style that blends traditional Mallorcan music with rock and roll and country. He has released more than thirty albums and is the author of iconic songs such as “Illes dins d’un riu.”

Elèctrica Dharma

The Dharma Electric Company is one of the most iconic groups in Catalan music, a pioneer in fusing the region’s traditional music with jazz, rock, and psychedelic music. With their “La Dharma a un pam” format, the band offers an intimate, up-close concert experience designed for small venues, where the audience surrounds the musicians and shares the musical experience from very close range.
