The Parc Astronòmic del Montsec hosted the 8th edition of the Festival d’Astronomia

● The event will take place from October 28th to November 1st and will aim to bring astronomy to the world’s supply.

● During the five days there are full scientific and cultural activities, such as the Sota les Estrelles amb Mazoni Music Series concert or the geological tour to Àger.

The Montsec Astronomical Park is here, from October 28 to November 1, the 8th edition of the Montsec Astronomical Festival, in the municipality of Àger. The festival, organized in collaboration with the Institute of Illegal Studies of the Provincial Council of Lleida, the Regional Council of La Noguera, the Ajuntament d’Àger and the Geoparc Orígens, has the objective of bringing science to everyone The public and promote Montsec as an astrotourism destination.

During five days, the public attending will be able to hear different proposals focused on leisure, culture and science. L’Astronòmic will include both day and night visits and special activities such as concerts, observation sessions or story telling.

Among the enguany proposals, the music concert under the Stars with Mazoni “Part d’un tot, Mazoni” at the L’Ull del Montsec planetarium or the geological tour to Àger, to discover the geology of the area and the its link with the stars.

The Montsec Astronomical Festival is presented as one of the star proposals of the Astronomical programme, together with the Sota les Estrelles Music Series, which will end in December.
