From December 20 to January 11, visitors will be able to enjoy guided observations to discover the magic of the winter sky.
Two unique experiences are also being organized that combine astronomical observation with live music: Lluís Sánchez, recent winner of TV3’s Eufòria, will perform on December 21 and Julien Leone, also a participant in this talent show, on January 4.
The Parc Astronòmic del Montsec is opening a special program this Christmas that combines science and music under the vastness of the Montsec sky. For the first time, the Parc Astronòmic is offering a Christmas experience for all audiences, bringing astronomy closer to young and old during these special dates.
This year’s edition is packed with original and unique experiences that combine science with guided observation and live music in one of the darkest and most spectacular skies in Catalonia, in the municipality of Àger. This Christmas program offers a magical experience for all those who want to immerse themselves in the vastness of the universe in a different way.

Winter Sky Observation
From December 20 to January 11, the Astronòmic will offer the Winter Sky activity, in which visitors will delve into the magic of the night sky while discovering the wonders of the cosmos through a complete immersion in the universe. This experience includes a special live planetarium session at the Ull del Montsec, a planetarium with a 12-meter-diameter dome, and a visit to the Parc de Telescopis to observe planets, stars and galaxies with the help of the Park’s experts.
This activity, lasting 2 hours, is ideal for all audiences and offers an unforgettable opportunity to connect with the immensity of the night sky. The price is €17 for the general rate and €15 for the reduced rate, with free entry for children under 5 years old.
Astronomy and live music
Under the spectacular Ull del Montsec, visitors will have the opportunity to appreciate the music of two Catalan artists in a truly exceptional setting. Each of the shows will be followed by sky observation sessions in the Parc de Telescopis, which will allow attendees to explore the wonders of the universe after enjoying live music.
With these two proposals, the Parc Astronòmic del Montsec invites you to discover the grandeur of the night sky in Catalonia and to enjoy the wonders of the universe to the rhythm of music through these two concerts:
– Saturday 21 December: Lluís Sánchez, a resident of Artesa de Lleida, will offer the show “Floreta sota els estels”. Winner of the third season of the top-rated talent show in Catalonia, TV3’s Eufòria, he started his career with a summer hit “Els millors dels nostres dies” and has recently released a new single “Floreta”, a surprising song composed by himself. He will perform two sessions: at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Price: €23.
– Saturday, January 4: Julien Leone, a singer originally from Perpignan, will present Anunnak, a special concert with an exclusive repertoire. Active in Northern Catalonia since 2014 and finalist of the third edition of Eufòria and semi-finalist of the first edition of Zenit, two television programs. He will offer two concerts: at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Price: €23.
